A very fast read. Native American history....
The author Sara Hoklotubbe certainly knows banking and her book kept my interest from start to finish. Sadie Walela was a very intriguing character and her Indian heritage made her even more interesting to me. I understand another book in this series is to be released soon,and I look forward to more adventures from Sadie. For the mystery lover,this book is a must read, I read it all in one day!
Mesmerizing
A very well-written mystery. The story plot and characters made it very difficult to put the book down, so I stayed up until 4 a.m. to finish reading it! Can't wait to read the authors other books.
Interesting, but a bit too pushy. Sadie Walela is an interesting heroine. While this book has some lapses (a lot of historical background that is intrusive) and can be overly simplistic at times, I look forward to the further development of Sadie in subsequent volumes.
A compelling, fast-paced read with well-rounded characters that become as real as close friends. You can't help rooting for Sadie Walela, the very appealing amateur sleuth. She is worthy of her own series. The insights into Cherokee life and culture give the book an extra richness. Hope to read much more of Sadie's adventures in future books!
