Twilight Serenade Song of Alaska Series Book 3 Tracie Peterson 9780764201530 Books

This is book 3 in the series. The year is now 1906 and Britta is now 24 years old. She left Alaska after the love of her life, Yuri, marries someone else. She has returned to consider a problem she is dealing with but doesn't want to talk with anyone about it. Unfortunately for her he shows up in Alaska after promising to wait for her answer. Yuri has left the area also and his wife who passes away in this story. What will happen when he returns? Some other people from the past reappear as well but won't give any spoilers here. I enjoyed this book as much as the other two and highly recommend it. Many issues that have plagued the family for years are resolved in this book. This series is very well written and keeps you wanting more.

Twilight Serenade Song of Alaska Series Book 3 Tracie Peterson 9780764201530 Books Reviews

This story revolves around Yuri and Britta. Their struggles as a couple are difficult but they persevere through them. There is a strong emphasis on faith throughout.
I enjoyed this book. The characters were so easy to love. The struggles were written well. The author writes about real life and real people. I recommend this book and the two previous books. This is a good series
Very happy with the book and the author is one of my favorites! The mailing of the book was in a timely manner. Very pleased customer here.
I'm actually still reading this one, and have to say the only bad part is that it's the last in the series. I was at first surprised and mildly disappointed that the author lets so much time lapse between books, but once I started reading #2 and #3, it didn't matter. I was caught up in the characters just like I was with book #1.
Tracie Peterson has such a lovely way with writing Christian novels and this one is no exception.
Strong characters, good storyline and good ending. It did drag in one area but picked up and really
got me right back into it. I would strongly recommend it to those wanting a good Christian book
to read. All 3 books in the series were so good you hate to see the series end.
Nice ending for unique series. The song of Alaska books don't have the hard hitting, thrilling and sometimes suspenseful moments readers have come to expect for Tracie Peterson's pioneer themed historical fiction. However, exploring Alaska, (the last frontier) gives readers a unique look at what it meant to leave the luxuries, innovations and excitement the turn of the century brought to the rest of the U.S. and focus on the rugged beauty found in Alaska. The different cultures, scenery and day-in, day-out story telling transport readers to a place that feels as real as walking down your own street.
This story was honest, & intriguing at the same time. The dialogue was straight forward, which is much to my liking.
Real people with real problems that were God loving and kind, but very resourceful.
There is evil in this world, which came to light in this story, but I appreciated how the author was able to handle it without being preachy.
